Christiane Dirkes, Managing Director, Cohn & Wolfe Germany
Christiane Dirkes joined the agency in 2005 as managing director Cohn & Wolfe Germany. She has nearly 20 years in-depth experience within the PR industry and her main areas of expertise are corporate communications, brand and consumer programs, issues management, crisis communications as well as coaching.
Her responsibilities on a day-to-day level include strategic advice for Cohn & Wolfe’s key clients. Together with her team she develops strategic communication programmes to enhance the reputation of companies and premium brands and products - Cohn &Wolfe’s core competency.
Prior to joining Cohn & Wolfe, Christiane Dirkes was the CEO of an international network PR agency in Germany and member of the worldwide executive committee. She was responsible for the agency’s strategy, content, business and administrative management and development. Her activities included strategic planning and development of new business, content management and counsel to key clients, monitoring the quality of the agency’s performance in the conception and execution of its diverse communication assignments.
Christiane holds a graduate degree in communication science, language and education, University of Cologne. She also earned a graduate certificate in professional coaching.
