Victoria Dix, Managing Director, Cohn & Wolfe Geneva

Victoria opened Cohn & Wolfe’s Geneva office in January 2001 as our seventh European office. She is a generalist, with over 20 years experience of delivering practical and creative PR solutions for pan-European and international clients. Victoria transferred from Cohn & Wolfe’s London office where she was a board director, jointly heading the corporate, b2b and financial services division.

Her communications skills encompass strategic marketing consultancy, reputation management, issues handling and training. Her creative skills and ability to understand the dynamics of industry issues and client requirements, help her and the Cohn & Wolfe team in Geneva to develop practical, effective and industry appropriate solutions.

Victoria joined Cohn & Wolfe’s London office 14 years ago to head the financial services division and to develop the agency’s pan European co-ordination capability. She also developed the UK business’ issues and crisis management service line, spending Y2k within Visa’s communications center and was a member of the ‘Go Fly’ crisis management team for several years. Victoria has run media training projects for a wide variety of clients including Orange and Procter & Gamble and regularly runs PR training courses for clients and university students. Victoria also led change management projects for ICI and for the British Post Office.

Born and brought up in the UK, her academic qualifications include an MSc in Public Relations from Stirling University, a BA (hons) in Social Science and a Diploma in Drama. She is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
