Ideas that matter
Throughout Brooke’s career, she has found herself in many unexpected places with clients: the Tournament of Roses Parade route before dawn, a remote-controlled car race at Madison Square Garden, 18 James Taylor concerts over one summer, and in a Denver parking lot, surrounded by 200 tons of computers to be recycled. Lately, she’s been spending a fair amount of time in places like Facebook and Twitter – not just updating her own profile, but studying consumer attitudes and interactions with brands. Wherever she is, one thing is certain: Brooke is ardent about her clients’ brands, understanding their key audiences, and designing strategies to engage them.
Bold brand work
As a senior vice president in Cohn & Wolfe’s Digital Media Practice and managing director of the Austin, Texas office, Brooke leads the development of integrated communications programs that leverage digital and social media to deliver business results for her clients. She has worked with such brands as ExxonMobil, Dell, Hampton Hotels, Nike, Starbucks, Walmart, RadioShack, Allstate and M. D. Anderson.
Creative highlight
In August 2009, PRWeek named Brooke to its “Top 40 under 40” list, recognizing her pioneering work in social media. In fact, she played a key role in the design and execution of Dell’s award-winning social media strategy, which included an online monitoring and rapid response program, digital influencer relations, the company’s first blog (www.direct2dell.com), an innovative crowdsourcing community (www.ideastorm.com) and more.
