Eric Litchfield
Eric Litchfield is Vice President of Communications for Cohn & Wolfe. He is responsible for the agency’s internal communications and employee engagement activities throughout the global network, and marketing communications in the U.S including PR, thought-leadership and other visibility programs. Overall, Eric has 13 years of experience developing the means and the messages for companies big and small.
Eric joined Cohn & Wolfe in September 2007 from MetLife, the U.S (and global) insurance giant, where he was a senior internal communications specialist. There, he was managing editor of the employee newspaper with a circulation of 40,000. He also wrote CEO and other senior executive communications. Prior to joining MetLife, Eric spent six years with Citigroup and its Global Transaction Services business. At Citigroup, Eric had both internal and external communications responsibilities including employee and client newsletters, intranet and internet content development, executive and client event planning and other employee and client engagement programs.
Eric started his communications career with one of the first technology-focused PR agencies, Technology Solutions, in their interactive entertainment group. His clients included id Software which revolutionized the video game industry by introducing the first, first-person shooter and network-playable video game, Doom. His clients also included Music Boulevard, the first online music store, and the first official Web sites for David Bowie and The Rolling Stones.
