    With a network of offices in all four corners of the globe, and great work being done wherever you point to on a map, we are lucky at Cohn & Wolfe to have ample opportunities to constantly glean new ways to do our jobs better.  Taking the time to understand what is happening in other markets is an effective way to challenge ourselves to do the best for our clients and maintain a truly global outlook, and I was very excited to spend a month with our colleagues in the C&W Madrid office to do just that.

    Over my career, I’ve had a lot of big moments. Ground-breaking campaigns. Clients who embraced us as true partners, inspiring us to do our best. Employees who blew me away with the sheer brilliance of their thinking. Titles and awards and accolades. I’ve treasured these experiences and let them fuel my work. But winning both Large Agency of the Year and overall Agency of the Year at the 2013 PR Week Awards was probably the most exciting moment in my career – and the highest achievement for our agency.

    Charity. It can be as simple as allowing somebody to merge into traffic ahead of you, or as grand as volunteering at a homeless shelter. There is an internal enrichment we feel when doing something charitable, a “goodness effect” that scientists now say can do everything from minimize stress to extend our lives. Imagine, then, the impact of bringing the employees of an entire company together with the goal of making a difference.
