Cohn & Wolfe New York Summer Internship Program
Location: New York, New York, United States
Application deadline: CLOSED
Contact: Jenna Rolnick
Cohn & Wolfe has started accepting resumes for the 2011 Summer internship program in New York. This internship will be paid.
Qualifications & Responsibilities
Qualified applicants must have completed their sophomore year in order to be eligible. Our interns become actively involved on account teams, working with current clients on a variety of activities. Work can include: handling basic research of clients’ businesses and industries to develop a current knowledge base; assisting in the development and maintenance of media lists; monitoring media to assist in reporting coverage that affects clients’ businesses; assisting in the preparation and distribution of publications and assisting in the coordination of client events and promotions. New York based interns also participate in a group project over the course of the summer. The objective and scope of the project varies. Interns generate a PR strategy for an actual client, and present ideas to the client at the end of the Summer.
Interns are typically assigned to one of four practice areas: Healthcare, Consumer, Corporate, or Digital Media. The program begins in early June and ends in early August. Interns will need to commit to these program dates when offers are extended.
Resumes for Summer 2011 must be submitted by April 29, 2011. Final decisions will be made in May. Cohn & Wolfe does not provide housing for interns, but we can make suggestions as needed.
