Cohn & Wolfe makes two senior hires to strengthen digital offerings in paid and integrated media, digital healthcare

New York – December 16, 2013 – Cohn & Wolfe, a leading global communications agency, announces the appointment of two senior digital executives in newly created roles to bolster the agency’s offerings in integrated and paid media and digital health: Ethan Kraus, Vice President of Paid and Integrated Media, and Vicky Lewko, SVP, Head of Digital Health.
The appointments build on Cohn & Wolfe’s brand marketing heritage, and reflect the increased client demand for digital expertise across marketing disciplines.  The agency has experienced significant growth across industries from clients who recognize the need to build fully integrated campaigns across paid, earned, shared and owned media. The healthcare practice in particular delivered double-digit growth this year, with an increased demand for integrated and digital media among clients.
Ethan Kraus is responsible for leading the development of integrated paid media strategies for clients across digital and social media.  He brings a decade of experience creating paid media programs for leading global brands including Samsung, eBay, Virgin Mobile, SC Johnson and Walgreens.  Previously, Kraus was the Director of Integrated Marketing at The Economist where he developed cross-platform programs featuring custom content for blue chip advertisers. Kraus is based in New York and reports to Chad Latz, Global President of Cohn & Wolfe’s Digital Innovation Group.
Vicky Lewko is charged with growing the agency’s digital business by integrating digital programming into new and existing healthcare accounts.  Vicky comes from W2O with 12 years of experience developing digital and social strategies for leading healthcare and corporate brands. She will be part of Cohn & Wolfe’s healthcare team, which like other Cohn & Wolfe practices, has embedded digital talent to ensure seamless, integrated digital work.  Vicky reports to Jillian Janaczek, EVP of Cohn & Wolfe’s Healthcare practice, and Chad Latz in the Digital Innovation Group.
“Ethan’s extensive background in paid media, both on the agency and the publisher side, allows us to amplify the volume of our programming.  And Vicky’s deep understanding of the needs and opportunities in the healthcare space will help us bring digital innovation to clients in a way that ensures success,” said Latz.  “Both will deliver what clients are demanding:  more powerful campaigns that motivate audiences to engage with their brands.”
"Cohn & Wolfe has always been known for creative and digital ideas that can be leveraged across the entire marketing mix.  More than ever, we are delivering integrated media solutions for brands that connect with audiences and meet consumer demand for relevant, compelling content.  Vicky and Ethan will help us do just that,” continued Latz.
