Cohn & Wolfe Named ‘Best Place to Work’ by PRWeek UK
London – January 6, 2017 – Cohn & Wolfe, a global communications agency, was named a ‘Best Place to Work’ by PRWeek UK, winning Gold in the Large Agency category. Last year, the agency took home the Silver award in the same Large Agency category.
Cohn & Wolfe stood out with its commitment to giving “employees as much freedom as possible to develop and grow within the company, as well as outside it.” PRWeek was also impressed by the agency’s culture of open and transparent communication; commitment to training and development; and pro bono work for former Formula One World Champion Sir Jackie Stewart’s ‘Race Against Dementia’ charity.
Cohn & Wolfe’s momentum throughout 2016 was highlighted by double digit growth for the sixth consecutive year in the UK, as well as a number of exceptional achievements across the EMEA region. The agency was honoured by The Holmes Report in 2016 as ‘Best European Network to Work For,’ and was named EMEA Regional Network of the Year at the ICCO Global Awards in December. Cohn & Wolfe also experienced remarkable new business performance and stand-out creative output, marked by 17 Cannes Lions, four Eurobest Grand Prix and three Clio Grand Prix for the agency’s EMEA region.
“This latest award is a fantastic accolade and a direct recognition of our UK office’s culture and commitment to talent,” says Scott Wilson, Chief Executive Officer, UK and Managing Director, EMEA, Cohn & Wolfe. “The enthusiasm, skill and dedication of our teams enable our outstanding performance, year after year. We’ve realized that in order to best serve our clients, we need to continually invest in our talent and to continually support and inspire our staff. Only by creating and constantly nurturing culture will Cohn & Wolfe continue to operate at the top of its game, which is critical for both our clients and for the agency.”
