Cohn & Wolfe appoints Fernando Rizo as new Head of Digital and Social Media

London – February 24, 2011 – Cohn & Wolfe today announces the appointment of Fernando Rizo as Senior Vice President, Digital Practice and the new Head of Digital and Social Media for the UK.

Fernando joins Cohn & Wolfe from Ketchum Pleon, where as Head of Digital UK, he founded and led the digital and social media team for the last two years. Prior to arriving in London, Rizo worked as a senior interactive strategist in Ketchum's New York office and previously served as an online interactive media planner for Fly, boutique interactive ad agency in New York.

Fernando brings to Cohn & Wolfe’s London office a vast range of experience in planning and implementing strategic social media campaigns for leading international and UK clients including Nokia, Proctor & Gamble, Dell, and IBM, as well as devising online buzz campaigns for brands including Hyundai, Best Buy and Cadbury.

Fernando will report into Wilson in the UK and to Chad Latz, President of Cohn & Wolfe’s Global Digital Practice.
