Matt Wolfrom discusses communications and the banking crisis on popular podcast, Total Picture Radio

Matt Wolfrom, EVP of Cohn & Wolfe’s North American Corporate practice, was recently interviewed on podcast program Total Picture Radio discussing the results of C&W’s Financial Confidence Survey.

In the interview, Matt explains how the results show a huge perception gap between consumers and the financial services industry.  He provided recommendations on how the industry can restore their reputations and bounce back, emphasizing the importance of ethical, transparent and sympathetic communications.

In January, Cohn & Wolfe polled more than 1,000 consumers and more than 200 financial services employees in the U.S. and UK to discover what effect the global economic crisis has had on the financial services industry.  The first study to compare attitudes of consumers and financial service employees shows that there is a clear difference of opinion between consumers and the financial services industry on what must be done to restore lost trust.

Known as TiVo for radio, Total Picture Radio is a career advancement podcast to help educate workers on how to navigate today’s job market.  The podcast focuses on big picture topics and emerging trends that can help people advance their careers.
