Our Research

ImagePower Green Brands

As the world begins to understand the consequences of our actions on the environment over the last several centuries, we need to place a sharper focus on the challenges and opportunities surrounding “green” issues and brands.

Cohn & Wolfe, in partnership with Landor Associates, Penn, Schoen & Berland and Esty Environmental Partners, has conducted six rounds of research in the US and UK, and have also expanded into additional countries including Australia, China, France, Germany, Brazil and India. The ImagePower Green Brands survey explores consumer’s perceptions of green practices in business – be they right or wrong – as well as gauges their level of involvement in improving the state of the environment, and identifies which brands they think are best at being green. The studies have revealed consumers increasingly sophisticated perspective on issues such as corporate responsibility, labeling, ingredient sourcing, packaging and buying behaviors.

The 2010 study, released on June 8, 2010,  includes the US and UK, China, Germany, France, Brazil, India and Australia. Click here to view and download the Global and U.S. results.
