Ideas that matter

Annie's not just a people person; she's a people champion. A core belief that we can only provide the highest quality of service for clients by attracting, retaining and rewarding the best people has always been at the heart of her business planning and management style. It’s hardly surprising then that under Annie's leadership San Francisco has been one of the fastest growing Cohn & Wolfe offices, with staff retention rates that far exceed industry averages.

Bold brand work

Chevron, Tom’s of Maine, Pioneer ... Annie's advised some of the world's biggest and best companies on their national and global PR strategies. A highlight for her was leading the American Express “Partners in Preservation” project which was called the “American Idol” of historic preservation. But she’s also a start-up junkie, having launched everything from the first organic frozen baby food to a floor-cleaning robot. No matter the size of the client or the size of the challenge, Annie’s blend of journalism experience, imagination and pragmatism generates media, builds brands and sells product.

Career highlight

Annie's a passionate believer in the power of business to change the world for good, while turning a sustainable profit for its shareholders. Having launched Cohn & Wolfe’s Sustainability Practice back in 2007, she's gone on to complete the Executive MBA in Sustainability Management at the Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco. Annie's also helped establish Cohn & Wolfe’s annual Green Brands Survey as one of the marketing industry's most respected sources of information on sustainability and consumer behavior.
