For more than 35 years, Kjell has been successfully molding opinions. He has experience across virtually all areas including consumer products and B2B, cars, burgers, high-tech research, chemistry, housing, technology, logistics, pulp and paper, TV shows, national lotteries, travel and tourism, medical devices and pharmaceutical products, and all aspects of communications strategy from lobbying campaigns and media training to financial communications and public affairs.
Bold brand work
A proposed new legislation in Sweden threatened to close down an entire sector in the chemical industry. Similar opinion grew in other European countries. But successful lobbying gave the Swedish parliament and government broader insights and the proposed ban was lifted. Other European countries copied the Swedish lobbying strategy and tactics with similar success. Since, the industry has not only survived, but thrived.
Career highlight
Back in the 1970s, Kjell started as a newspaper journalist and became editor-in-chief for major Swedish regional dailies. He has also worked in government PR and communications groups and was head of communications during a national referendum campaign. Of course, the highlight occurred in 1997 when he founded what today is Cohn & Wolfe Göteborg.
