Cohn & Wolfe China was founded in Shanghai in early 2006. Since China is changing at a speed comparable to “dog years” that makes us about 10 years old – and what a ride we’ve had!
Seriously, we’ve done a lot in a very short time. We’ve been specializing in brand marketing, particularly lifestyle marketing, media relations and special events for a wide range of consumer products. This includes projects and consulting for luxury goods, automobiles, apparel, travel, technology and health care for clients such as Ford, Kellogg’s, Rolex, Hilton Hotels Corp., Hampton Inns, Doubletree, Anta, JWT and others.
Our other specialties include market entry strategies and brand building for inbound and outbound China clients as well as marketing to youth and new moms. We’ve also developed resources for corporate communications, investor relations and crisis training and management.
Cohn & Wolfe China is a working partner within the JWT Group. This extends our market knowledge and implementation capabilities considerably. For example, the Group is lead by JWT advertising, a firm with arguably the deepest understanding of the China market. It includes Always, a field marketing organization that offers us with an army of thousands of guerilla marketers, street teams and sampler/promoters all across China. Our other team members include RMG, which is pioneering the now-infant CRM and related digital capabilities in Asia and Identica, a world class branding and design firm. JWT Interactive gives us the most cutting edge and creative website work being done in China today.
Finally, Cohn & Wolfe coordinates an Asia Pacific network that spans India, South Asia, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
