This is Money Bolsters Site’s Appeal to Business and Consumers
LONDON - Leading personal finance website, thisismoney.co.uk, has appointed Cohn & Wolfe and Propaganda as its retained consumer and corporate communications agencies respectively.
This is Money, published by Associated Northcliffe Digital provides independent help for people looking to save and make money on their important financial decisions.
Cohn & Wolfe’s core brief is to build awareness of the site, as the independent champion of personal finance solutions, and to interact with a consumer audience spanning twenty-somethings to silver-surfers.
Propaganda’s brief focuses on developing advertisers’ understanding of the opportunities for engaging with their financial services audience, and encouraging them to experiment with new ideas to build their brand online with This is Money.
The Cohn & Wolfe team of four will be led by Associate Director James Ruane. He comments: “This is Money wants to build on its relatively high brand awareness by ensuring as wide an audience as possible understands how their team of experts can help them save and make money. Cohn and Wolfe will be connecting This is Money with new audiences and new public facing partners.”
Nick Blythe, Propaganda’s PR director, will lead the team of three. He says: “This is Money is highly trusted by consumers due to the editorial integrity of the site and its ability to make it easier for consumers to understand and engage with their finances. This provides a markedly different advertising proposition from competitor sites. Building upon this, This is Money intends to drive real strategic debate amongst advertisers and media buyers.”
Dominic Barton, General Manager of This is Money adds: “We’re delighted to appoint our new agencies to help raise awareness and understanding of our site with both consumers and advertisers. This is Money gives consumers the confidence, support, and tools to help them save, money and make money. Our goal is a simple one, to take our message of the best consumer journey in personal finance to the widest possible audience.”
